    Seed Swap and Book Exchange

Warm up your January with the Women in Hort Seed and Horticulture Book Exchange!

Bring seeds to share with others as we plan for next spring. Bring garden books that you just don't use anymore or bring favorites to pass on! Biographies, memoirs, design, plant ID, fiction welcome.

    Featured Horticulturist

Introducing Sandra Lopez Cortez, our Featured Horticulturist for November.

Sandra works as a Gardener at The Scott Arboretum of Swarthmore College in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, where in addition to helping to maintain their expansive collection and grounds, she also assists with giving tours that meaningfully engage children with horticulture, as well as being a sustainability advocate in her department as part of a college-wide effort to address climate change and other environmental issues.

Check out "Living The American Dream: Sandra Lopez Cortez" to read more about how she got to where she is today, and where we can expect to see Sandra go from here.
